WANT

I want

Can lead us through life
gathering
for what it’s worth

And for some that’s enough

Cursed are those who long for meaning
and drift
finding only disappointment

Blessed are they whose longing turns to God
Willing to slow
Listen
Reach
Beseech

Want is sufficient
All God ever asks is
our attention
longing
love

To forge lives filled with
serenity
bliss
joy

Reflecting
compassion
generosity
wisdom

Be careful what you ask for
