Reminder: 2015 WCTS Gathering Registration Deadline May 1st
May 1st is the deadline for registration for the WCTS 2015 gatherings at the The Conference Center at Quaker Hill in Richmond, Indiana. The plan was to have two gatherings,
1) “Touching God Together” (June 12-16 with Elaine Emily as a facilitator, followed by two days of extended worship) and
2) “Spiritual Sustenance: Supporting Early Steps on the Spiritual Path” (June 19-21 to serve those who are new to a spiritual path).
“Spiritual Sustenance” Gathering Canceled
From a preliminary look at registrations, we regret to announce that due to low registration we will not be offering “Spiritual Sustenance.” Anyone who was interested will be welcome to attend “Touching God Together.” We can offer a buddy to help anyone new to a spiritual path.
“Touching God Together” Gathering Will Be Held
“Touching God Together” will be held as planned, the retreat led by Elaine Emily and the two days of extended worship following. If you want to come, please register right away. There are still openings, so Friends are encouraged to sign up before May 15th.
Building on the deep and joyful sharing we experienced in the first two gatherings; we invite Friends to join us in fellowship, worship and expectant waiting. The first two days will be a retreat led by Elaine Emily. This first part of our time together ends after lunch on Sunday.
The following two days we will respond to developing leadings that have arisen in the first two gatherings and those that arise among us during our time together. For those who choose to stay, this work will be grounded in worship and worship sharing. The retreat ends with lunch on Tuesday.
